Product Description
ZnSZinc sulfide (ZnS) is an excellent infrared optical substrate, transmission wavelength is 3-13um.
ZnS MS can be can be used for 3-5um optical window substrate. Used in civil, aerospace and other military industries. Compared
with Zinc Selenide (ZnSe), Zinc Sulfide (ZnS) has higher hardness, stronger resistance to harsh environments.
ZnS is significantly oxidized at 300°C, exhibits plastic deformation at about 500°C, and dissociates at about 700°C. For safety
reasons, zinc sulfide windows should not be used above 250°C in normal atmosphere.
Note: ZnS MS transmission from Visible light to infrared light, ZnS Primary tranmission only infrared light.ZnS MS has higher transmission.
